Inclusion Academy, Experiential Learning: Cancer Health Disparities: Strategies to Increase Outreach and Better Serve All Patients
November 17, 7:30 am to 8:30 am

Despite advances in cancer care, significant disparities continue to affect outcomes for many communities. Join us for an engaging webinar that explores the factors driving cancer health disparities and highlights practical strategies to improve outreach, access, and patient engagement. Together, we’ll examine how healthcare professionals can help create more equitable cancer care experiences and outcomes for all patients.
In this session, participants will:
- Review current statistics and trends in cancer incidence, mortality, and survival across diverse populations.
- Identify key cancer disparities impacting marginalized communities, including racial/ethnic minorities, low-income populations, and rural populations.
- Explore how bias, cultural differences, and healthcare system challenges influence prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes.
Gain valuable insights and actionable approaches to better understand, reach, and serve the diverse communities who depend on us.
