NPAW: Kick-off Event – Owning Your Career Watch Party

September 16, 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Rashada Alexander, PhD, director, AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships, will be the keynote speaker for this virtual event hosted by the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA).

Postdoctoral training is a crucial bridge between graduate training and fully launching an independent career, whatever and however you move in your field. Just like the bridge is crucial, so are the skills with which you navigate it because it is yours, you are making the journey, and you own what happens. Let’s talk about how to do that with clear eyes (intentionality) and “elastic” strategies (resilience). This watch party is for current postdoctoral scholars and fellows only.

This event is hosted as part of the 2024 National Postdoc Appreciation Week.
