Penn State Health RecFest 2026
August 22, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Penn State Health Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will host RecFest 2026, a free, inclusive event connecting individuals of all abilities with recreation, resources and community support.
This free event features complimentary parking and is open to individuals with visible and invisible disabilities, as well as their families, friends and caregivers.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore:
- Adaptive sports and recreational activities
- Community resources
- Life skills programming
- Inclusive wellness opportunities
Featured speaker
The event will feature Dr. Tom Morris, assistant athletics director for High Performance – Olympic Sports at Penn State. He leads innovative training and monitoring strategies focused on student athlete wellness, injury prevention, recovery and peak performance. A Penn State kinesiology graduate and nationally certified master strength and conditioning coach, he is committed to elevating the High Performance program to a world-class standard.
