Safe Sitter Class

June 7, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Three young children sitting on a bench in front of windows reading.

Penn State Health Children’s Hospital is proud to offer the Safe Sitter training. We hope to provide information that will teach your child how to handle emergencies when caring for other children. The program also shares ideas on how to manage being a sitter and the responsibilities and concerns that may arise. Each participant must be actively engaged in the program and review emergency key concepts learned throughout the day. Please note: In this one day course, participants will learn basic first aid practices, choking rescue for infants and children. This course does NOT provide CPR certification.
