Showcasing Your Scholarly Impact with Bibliometrics and Altmetrics

Join Robyn Reed and Nancy Adams of the Harrell Health Sciences Library to learn more about how to showcase your scholarly impact using free tools. Presented on Zoom. The learning objectives we’ll discuss include:
- How common bibliometric measures such as citation count and h-index demonstrate your impact
- Free sources of bibliometric data for your publications
- How Altmetrics can help you track and document the public’s engagement with your research output through cites on X (Twitter), Wikipedia, news sources, etc.
This participatory workshop will include sharing ideas on how you and others have leveraged bibliometrics and altmetrics in your promotion and tenure portfolio, resume, and other professional portfolios.
