‘Stop the Bleed’ classes – Dauphin County
November 19, 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Penn State Health Children’s Hospital will host free “Stop the Bleed” classes. “Stop the Bleed” is a national initiative to teach bystanders the appropriate response to save a life when a person is bleeding to death.
Uncontrolled hemorrhage is the leading cause of death for trauma patients. A person can bleed to death in less than five minutes. The quick application of a tourniquet can save lives. Come learn lifesaving techniques in this hands-on class.
