Women in Islam

February 22, 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm

Women in Islam will feature guest speaker, world-renowned OB/GYN and Islamic Scholar, Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis. She has over 1.2M followers on Instagram and will be joining us over Zoom to discuss women in Islam and help educate folks about some stereotypes and misconceived notions about women in the faith. Locally catered Middle Eastern food will be provided – please email sshaheen1@pennstatehealth.psu.edu to secure a spot. This will take place in LRB at 2:15 PM – come earlier to get food and find a seat. All are encouraged to join us and enjoy some good food!
