Lancaster County Highmark members Meet Dr. Right
Seventy-five Lancaster County Highmark members had a chance to Meet Dr. Right, an April 23 event at the Penn State Health Lime Spring Outpatient Center.
The event connected patients from the surrounding community with 30 Lancaster-based Penn State Health providers ranging from vascular surgeons to ear, nose and throat specialists. Thirty-three patients scheduled appointments with network providers.
“At the Highmark Health Meet Dr. Right event, we were able to showcase our primary and specialty services to Lancaster community members who were not familiar with Penn State Health providers,” said Jeanette Gibbs, senior vice president of ambulatory services for Penn State Health Medical Group. “They were able to meet physicians and other health care providers to discuss their health care needs.”
Additionally, providers conducted 26 health screenings and 25 vision screenings at the Lime Spring facility, which opened in January.
“Our goal at Penn State Health is always to serve our community better by providing an enhanced patient experience and improved quality through collaboration and coordination of care,” Gibbs said. “At Meet Dr. Right, we were excited to welcome new and returning patients and promote our high-quality services.”
