Research Development highlights 2019 internal grant program
Many applicants and reviewers contributed to maintaining the excellence of Penn State College of Medicine’s internal grant program, administered by Research Development, in 2019.
Research Development received 92 applications in response to requests for 11 different internal funding mechanisms. Review of these applications, as well as applications for several external limited submission opportunities, was made possible by the 132 different faculty members from the Penn State community, listed below, who kindly volunteered their time and expertise.
In total, more than $2.1 million dollars was awarded (or recommended for award to the Pennsylvania Department of Health for grants funded by the Commonwealth Universal Research Enhancement Program) to 21 faculty members and trainees.
