Genome Sciences core introduces new technologies
The Genome Sciences Core facility (RRID:SCR_021123) announces that leading edge technologies, including single cell multiomics and spatial transcriptomics, are now available. For single cell genomics using the 10x Genomics Chromium controller, up to 10,000 cells can be captured in a single sample. For spatial transcriptomics, Visium spatial gene expression services are offered both in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and fresh frozen tissues.
In addition to these leading technologies, the Genome Sciences Core also offers many other services including bulk sequencing of m/small/total RNA, epigenome sequencing, shotgun metagenome/transcriptome, high and low throughput next generation sequencing using Novaseq 6000 and MiSeq systems, Illumina genotyping and methylation microarrays, nucleic acid QC assays, quantitative PCR assays and data analysis. The core has developed new workflows and expanded staff to reduce turnaround times, while still maintaining quality.
