Berini urges employees to nominate colleagues for Baron Leadership Award

Hershey Medical Center President Deborah Berini encourages Medical Center and College of Medicine employees to offer their choices for the Steven and Sharon Baron Leadership Award by Aug. 21.

Employees may nominate co-workers, supervisors or faculty members for their contributions. Categories include nonsupervisory staff, managers/supervisors and faculty.

Winners will be selected based upon:

  • Professional achievement––Making a lasting contribution that enhances or advances patient care and satisfaction, education, research or organizational effectiveness
  • Cooperation––Creating a culture that promotes the development of others and allows all people to feel appreciated and included and to reach their full potential
  • Teamwork––Transforming a group into a high-performing unit

Past recipients and employees from each category are invited to serve on the committee to select the employee that best meets the award criteria.
