Celebrate Patient Experience Week April 22-26

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center spotlights the health care providers and support staff who go the extra mile for patients during Patient Experience Week April 22-26. Activities and information booths focus on what all employees can do to make patients healthier, safer and more comfortable.

Here are the events planned for Patient Experience Week:

Monday, April 22

  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Information booths on Patient Experience
  • Hershey Medical Center and University Physician Center lobbies

Tuesday, April 23

Spinal cord-injury survivor Jake French will discuss “Innovative Strategies to Improve Patient Experience”:

  • Noon-1 p.m.
  • Junker Auditorium

The event is part of Patient Experience Grand Rounds. From 2-3 p.m., French will host a hands-on workshop new strategies for improving patient experiences.

Friday, April 26

  • 8-10 a.m.
  • Information booths on Patient Experience
  • Hershey Medical Center and University Physician Center lobbies
