Community Engagement Spotlight: Helen Spence

Helen Spence is passionate about her community, especially connecting community members and organizations to enhance opportunities and resources that everyone can benefit from.

As the Dauphin County System of Care community liaison specialist, Spence facilitates committees that empower individuals and groups to make decisions and develop solutions to concerns in Dauphin County.

Faith and Family, Community Partners and Youth Leadership committees all have their own unique assets. With Spence’s expertise, these committees have operated monthly since 2004 and continue to sustain themselves.
