Del Valle receives Holy Spirit Medical Center’s BEE
Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center has awarded Kyle Del Valle, nursing assistant, Float Pool, the BEE (Be Extraordinary Every day) Award.
Kyle’s nominator wrote that he is “an amazing asset to any floor he works on,” and is “always helpful and kind.”
“He goes above and beyond every shift to ensure his patients are well cared for, his coworkers are supported and his rooms are clean,” the person said.
The nominator concluded by recognizing Kyle as a great role model, saying colleagues have asked that he help train other staff because of his “work ethic, his compassion and his drive.”
The Nursing Department presents the award several times a year to non-nurse team members, who provide extraordinary care to patients, visitors and each other. Recipients receive a pin, honey, chocolate and a certificate.
