Discount programs offer exclusive savings

Penn State Health offers its employees plenty of ways to save on everything from movie tickets to gym memberships and LASIK surgery through online discount programs.

Abenity

Abenity provides member-only savings on theme park tickets, car rentals, hotels and more.

All employees receive a welcome email with their login information 30 days after joining Penn State Health. If employees do not have their login information, they can update it online.

Discounts fall into 15 categories: attractions and tours, automotive, cellular phones, concerts and events, electronics, everyday living, fashion and beauty, gifts and flowers, health and wellness, Hershey exclusives, insurance center, movie tickets, restaurants, travel and unique experiences.

Hersheypark tickets are also discounted on the site. Employees may save nearly $23 off an adult ticket.

Blue365

Blue365 allows Penn State Health employees enrolled in the medical plan access to discounts on products and services for a well-balanced lifestyle. It features weekly and ongoing deals on health clubs, gym memberships, weight-loss programs, healthy travel experiences and more.

Deals fall into six categories: fitness, healthy eating, personal care, lifestyle, financial health and wellness.

Fitness Your Way by Tivity Health

Fitness Your Way features discounts on goods and services from more than 40,000 health and wellness providers, as well as fitness memberships that provide access to gyms nationwide.

Participants pay a $29 one-time enrollment fee and a $29 monthly membership fee with a three-month commitment. For more information, call 888-242-2060.

Penn State College of Medicine

Penn State College of Medicine employees do not have access to Abenity, Blue365 or Fitness Your Way, but they are eligible for the Penn State Discounts Program, which features more than 100 participating businesses, plus ecommerce vendors for those who prefer online shopping.

The Penn State Discounts Program offers exclusive discounts on the following:

• Real estate — percentage off the listing commission to sell a home
• Computers — exclusive discounts on Apple, Dell and HP products
• Education — little to no-cost computer and technology seminars
• Insurance — reduced auto and home insurance rates
