Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism celebrates staff members’ 30 years of service
The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine held a surprise celebration on June 8 to recognize Lisa Doster and Carol Creter’s over 30 years of service at Penn State College of Medicine.
The event was held in an outdoor tent on the College of Medicine campus in Hershey.
“It was a beautiful day for an outside celebration,” said Dr. Nazia Raja-Khan, division representative for the Department of Medicine’s Employee Program to Optimize Wellness, Exercise and Relationships (EmPOWER) initiative. “Thanks to everyone who attended the celebration and helped to make it special, and to Dr. David Macaluso for baking delicious desserts.”
Lisa and Carol, administrative associates for the division, received cards and gifts from their colleagues as a thank-you for their decades of dedication. Celebration attendees were also able to enjoy boxed lunches.
The celebration was organized by Raja-Khan and Jennifer Kirk in the Department of Medicine Chair’s Office.
