New website streamlines resources for College of Medicine faculty
A new faculty-focused website brings together resources for Penn State College of Medicine/Penn State Health faculty in one place, accessible from any location.
The site, faculty.med.psu.edu, is the latest in a series of new websites for Penn State Health and its affiliated College of Medicine to launch in the past year and a half.
The site focuses on the needs of faculty at all career levels, from junior to senior to emeritus, and provides:
- A calendar of upcoming events of interest to faculty
- Professional development opportunities
- Promotion and tenure details
- Orientation to-do list
- Faculty Organization meeting information
Most information is also accessible publicly to potential faculty who are considering positions at the College of Medicine. Material was organized and designed based upon months of research and feedback from a number of faculty groups. The new site is friendly to mobile and tablet devices, meets Penn State’s requirements for accessibility to those with disabilities, is simple to navigate, and offers an improved search function.
The content on this site is ever-evolving. The Office of Marketing and Communications and College of Medicine faculty and staff will continue to update the content to highlight the unique resources available to our faculty members.
