The second Faculty Xchange on Feb. 10 brought researchers and clinicians together to spark new ideas for products and practices that can be used to treat patients.
Hosting the virtual event were Sarah Bronson, associate dean for interdisciplinary research at Penn State College of Medicine; Erika Swift, associate director of the Center for Medical Innovation; and Mary Frecker, director of the Center for Biodevices at Penn State College of Engineering.
More than 165 people attended Faculty Xchange, which included a keynote lecture, presentations on research developments and breakout discussions. One session focused on funding opportunities available through the College of Engineering and the College of Medicine.
