Registration open for Feb. 26 Recent Topics in Research Methods Seminar Series
Nilam Ram, PhD, professor of human development and family studies, will present “Analysis of Experience Sampling and Ecological Momentary Assessment Data, Part 2: Using Multilevel Models of Intraindividual Covariation” at the next Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) Recent Topics in Research Methods Seminar Series.
This seminar will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Feb. 26, 2019, at 116 Henderson, University Park. It will also be streamed to room 2008 at Academic Support Building at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey and streamed online. A streaming link is provided upon registration.
More and more researchers are making use of experience sampling, ecological momentary assessment, daily diary, ambulatory assessment and related study designs. Data are obtained actively or passively from participants as they go about their daily lives. In the second part of this three-part series, Ram will review how these data are analyzed using two multilevel models of intraindividual covariation.
The Recent Topics in Research Methods Seminar Series features lectures on fundamental research methods in the fall semester with more advanced topics in the spring semester. Statisticians and methodologists from multiple Penn State departments present these seminars.
Register here by 5 p.m. on Feb. 25.
