Five physician assistant students awarded, program wins Challenge Bowl
The Penn State College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program has been in the news lately thanks to the outstanding work of its students. The program took first place at the 17th Annual Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants Challenge Bowl, out of 11 programs that participated.
Additionally, five students won scholarships at the state and national levels. Jasmine Stauffer and Kendra Munkacsy were selected for the PSPA Nathaniel Alston Student Achievement Scholarship, and Joshua Wilkins, Jasmine Stauffer and Hayley Knostman received 2016 National Health Service Corps scholarships.
