Clinician-educator Haidet honored by Society of General Internal Medicine
Penn State College of Medicine’s Paul Haidet, MD, MPH, received the National Award for Career Achievements in Medical Education from the Society of General Internal Medicine earlier this year.
The award was presented to Haidet for a lifetime of contributions to medical education. He is a distinguished professor of medicine, public health sciences and humanities and the leader of the Improvisation in Medicine program at the College of Medicine. He is also part of the team at theWoodward Center for Excellence in Health Sciences Education.
