Hampden and Holy Spirit medical centers announce 2026 Physicians of the Year

Penn State Health Hampden and Holy Spirit medical centers recognized four physicians with 2026 Physician of the Year awards during Doctors’ Day celebrations on March 30. The awards honor physicians whose leadership, compassion and clinical excellence have made a lasting impact on patients and colleagues.
Hampden Medical Center honored Dr. Robert delRosario, an obstetrician and gynecologist at Partners in Women’s Healthcare, for his exceptional leadership, steady guidance and clinical expertise. A nominator noted that his collaborative approach has strengthened patient safety, enhanced quality outcomes and fostered a positive, respectful team culture.
“He has fostered strong, respectful relationships between physicians and nurses, encouraged open communication…and leads with integrity, approachability and a clear commitment to excellence,” the nominator wrote.
Holy Spirit Medical Center honored Dr. Baba Limann, a Penn State Health pulmonologist, critical care and internal medicine physician, for his deep empathy, meaningful patient connections and dedication to learning, mentoring and teaching, according to a nominator.
“[Dr. Limann] spends as much time as he needs to make sure patients feel seen, understood and know they matter,” a nominator shared. “His infectious laugh can immediately brighten a patient’s day. His vast knowledge is incredible.”
Hampden Medical Center also recognized Aaron Reiprich, gastroenterologist at Harrisburg Gastroenterlogy Ltd., with an honorable mention for Physician of the Year.
Holy Spirit Medical Center awarded Dr. Lenke Erki, a Penn State Health cardiologist, an honorable mention for Physician of the Year.
