Hershey Medical Center Lion’s Eye slide request process is changing, effective May 19

Penn State Health’s Office of Marketing and Communications will review the Lion’s Eye digital screen content submission process during the next several months.
During this review, rather than building their own slides, all employees and faculty should use the Infonet project request form to submit news or information earmarked for public-facing Lion’s Eye digital screens.
This review currently only affects screens deemed to be public and that are managed by Marketing and Communications. No changes will be made at this time to processes used for department-managed screens, Penn State College of Medicine screens or those at other Penn State Health locations.
Insights gained from this review process will likely determine recommendations for future use of digital screens across Penn State Health.
The review will ensure content for the digital screens meets these key communication goals:
- Add to positive patient experience
- Promote brand loyalty or patient and visitor confidence
- Improve workplace environment or employee morale
In addition, this process provides an opportunity to measure the frequency of requests, types of requests and appropriateness of the messages for this organizational communication platform.
This change is effective Wednesday, May 19. Any slide requests submitted prior to this date will be posted as planned.
