This year’s symposium was headlined by keynote speaker Ken Lau, PhD, from Vanderbilt University, and featured two distinguished invited speakers: Ronen Sumagin, PhD, from Northwestern University, and Allen Lee, MD, from the University of Michigan. Each of these investigators is widely recognized for their research contributions related to IBD.

Several investigators associated with the Carlino Family IBD Center hosted and presented research at the event, including members of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery (such as Gregory Yochum, PhD, and Audrey Kulaylat, MD) and the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, among them Matthew Coates, MD, PhD; Ronaldo Panganiban, MD, PhD; Marina Chulkina, PhD; Priya Arumugam, PhD; Heather Tressler, RDN; and Jiqing Shi, BS.

Additionally, several other collaborating investigators provided outstanding presentations, including Seth Kabonick, BS (Townsend Laboratory), and Wes Raup-Konsavage, PhD.
