THON Returns
Penn State students will host their annual dance marathon to fight childhood cancer:

Since 1977, THON has raised $157 million to benefit Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. Four Diamonds covers 100 percent of all medical expenses related to cancer care not covered by insurance and provides essential funding for some of the nation’s most promising laboratory and clinical research programs.
Masquerade Gala
Penn State College of Medicine’s Pride and Disability Advocacy and Awareness group will host its 2019 Masquerade Gala:

“Follow Your Heart”
The Doctors Kienle Center Drama Group will present a staged reading of the play “Follow Your Heart” by Dr. Richard Selzer:

The play will examine the ethics surrounding grief and organ transplantation. The audience will have the opportunity to discuss it with members of the cardiac transplant team after the reading.
