Penn State Health W-2s mailed

Penn State Health mailed its 2018 W-2 forms today. Employees should receive the annual tax forms at their home addresses within the next several days. The Human Resources Department posts W-2 forms to the W-2 Self-Service page in Employee Self-Service, where the paperwork can be viewed, downloaded and printed. Follow the instructions on the Welcome Page to obtain authorization.

Research Quality Assurance will host a quarterly regulatory workshop on eye wash, reporting work-related injuries that require hospitalization and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee:

Clothing Donation

The Pathology Student Interest Group at Penn State College of Medicine is collecting gently used business or professional wear (business suits, shirts, blouses, dress pants, skirts, ties, etc.) to donate to Dress for Success and the Bethesda Mission by Thursday, Jan. 31. The donated clothing will be given to needy job seekers. Drop-off locations are:

3D Valentines

Seamus Carmichael, an Information Resources and Services support specialist, will give a workshop about Tinkercad, a program that can create 3D patterns of a heart-shaped box or cookie cutter for a 3D printer:

Multicultural Awareness Club Gala

Penn State College of Medicine’s Multicultural Awareness Club’s annual gala, originally scheduled for Jan. 19, was postponed because of snow. The event has been rescheduled for the following date:

Guests who purchased tickets with cash (separate from the TicketLeap website) should contact the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for details about refunds, if needed.

Daryl Branford, multimedia specialist for Huck Institute of Life Sciences at Penn State, will give a First Friday presentation entitled “Revealing Invisible Worlds: Using Interactive Sculpture to Communicate Scientific Research,” sponsored by the Department of Humanities:
