PTO/Vacation Donation Program

The following employees have been approved for the primary Paid Time Off (PTO)/Vacation Donation Program:

Employees interested in donating their Primary PTO hours may do so by going to mySolutions, search “PTO Donation” (log-in may be required) and submit it electronically.

Upcoming Events

Wear Red Friday

Penn State Health is encouraging its faculty, staff and volunteers to support Go Red For Women by wearing red on National Wear Red Day:

The Office of Marketing and Communications will compile an online photo album. Any photo submitted may be used on social media and should be horizontal in composition.

Walk for Healthy Community

Registration opens at noon on Friday, Feb. 1 for the 2019 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community Harrisburg event. Walkers and teams choose where to allocate their funds, and are invited to send emails, post on social media and hold fundraising events to raise money. The money is sent to the selected programs in June.

Penn State College of Medicine’s Student National Medical Association will host its Black History Month Banquet:

Fundraiser: Valentine Balloon Sale

Children’s Miracle Network will host a Valentine Balloon Sale fundraiser:

  • Thursday, Feb. 14
  • 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Children’s Hospital Tree House Café Performance Area

Chocolates and other gifts are also available.

Blood Drive

The Association of Faculty and Friends will host its annual blood drive:

  • Thursday, Feb. 14
  • 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center main lobby
  • Walk-ins welcome. ID required

Everyone who participates will receive a Valentine gift, and everyone who attempts to donate will be entered into gift basket drawings. Blood donations can also be made by appointment at the Hope Drive Donor Center. Call 717-531-8232 to schedule an appointment.
