Torrents of Teddy Bears
Penn State Health employees helped with the Hershey Bear Teddy Bear Toss, in which fans are invited to bring stuffed animals to the game and throw them on to the ice after the home team scores its first goal. More than 34,000 stuffed-animals were tossed onto the ice at the Giant Center on Dec. 2. About 20 Penn State Health employees helped count, sort and bag the toys, which, along with a monetary donation, went to the Children’s Miracle Network. Watch the video.
