Students encouraged to nominate peers, staff and faculty for Inspire Awards
Penn State College of Medicine’s Values in Action Committee is focused on recognizing faculty, staff and students at all levels of the organization that exemplify the organization’s RITE values of respect, integrity, teamwork and excellence, and is welcoming nominations of people deserving of such recognition.
Nominations can be made by any member of the organization, about any member of the organization, and are accepted year-round.
Throughout the year, nominees will be selected to participate in recognition events. These nominees will also be eligible to win the Alan R. Turyan Community Values Award, presented each year at the Inspired Together faculty and staff event held in August. This award was inspired by Julie Turyan's desire to honor the life of her late husband, Alan, as well as to recognize the outstanding collaboration, teamwork and care that takes place across the organization.
College of Medicine students are particularly encouraged to submit nominations of faculty, staff and peers who exemplify the RITE values.
Nominations can be submitted here.
