Jones-Lapp named Penn State Health St. Joseph interim chief nursing officer

Penn State Health St. Joseph has named Jennifer Jones-Lapp interim chief nursing officer, succeeding Sharon Strohecker, who stepped down April 2. She is responsible for oversight of all nursing activities and clinical operations.
Dedicated and results-oriented, Jones-Lapp brings 16 years of experience in nursing and operations management, including 10 years of progressive nursing leadership, to the position. Prior to joining the hospital, Jones-Lapp was director of critical care and emergency services for WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She also earned a master’s degree in nursing from Drexel University, Philadelphia, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cedar Crest College, Allentown.
