Karpa named Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education

Kelly Karpa, PhD, RPh, was recently named Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education at Penn State College of Medicine.

Kelly Karpa, PhD, RPh, Professor of Pharmacology at Penn State College of Medicine, was named Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education in July 2016.

Karpa continues to serve as the Director of the Office for Interprofessional Collaboration and Teamwork (ICE-T).

Karpa was named a 2013 Macy Faculty Scholar through the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation. She described her work in interprofessional collaboration in a February 2016 interview and an earlier 2014 interview, both on the Macy Foundation’s website.
