Lime Spring Outpatient Center expands women’s health services

Penn State Health Lime Spring Outpatient Center now offers a full range of obstetric and gynecologic care, as part of Penn State Health’s expansion of women’s health services in the Lancaster region. Services include routine obstetrics-gynecology (OB-GYN) care, fertility services, maternal fetal medicine and complex family planning.

With support from OB-GYN providers at Lancaster Medical Center, patients have more access to routine gynecology visits and care during pregnancy.

Fertility specialists are now available on-site for patient consultations and treatment monitoring, while continuing to perform procedures at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. These expanded services provide patients greater flexibility, including nearly around-the-clock availability for in vitro fertilization and intrauterine insemination cycles.

The addition of maternal fetal medicine and advanced ultrasound technology gives expectant mothers access to specialized care when closer monitoring is needed.

This fall, Lancaster Medical Center will open a Level II neonatal intensive care unit to provide advanced care for newborns.
