MD/PhD student receives scholar award at Experimental Biology meeting

Maryknoll Linscott, MS, a student in the Penn State College of Medicine MD/PhD program, recently received the Monga-Hans Trainee Scholar Award for Excellence in Neoplasia Research during the American Society for Investigative Pathology’s (ASIP) annual Experimental Biology meeting in Philadelphia.

Linscott is completing her Biomedical Sciences (BMS) thesis work in the lab of Edward Gunther, MD, focusing on PIK3CA-driven mammary tumorigenesis.
