Medical Group realigns leadership to improve collaboration, communication, patient experience

As we support an environment of continuous improvement across Penn State Health, the Medical Group leadership has been realigned to optimize and more strategically coordinate its services across the health system.
The structure is now grouped by specialty disciplines with a single operational leader for each specialty across the Medical Group, removing the artificial structure of division by geography. This leadership realignment will reduce redundancy, enhance decision-making, foster interdisciplinary collaboration and engagement, improve communication, and promote a seamless patient experience between hospital and ambulatory sites.
