MPH student named William Penn Fellow
Megan Litz, a student in Penn State College of Medicine’s Master of Public Health program, has been selected as one of the 10 William Penn Fellows by Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
In 2016, Megan participated in the College of Medicine’s Global Health Scholars Program at Taipei Medical University in Taiwan.
As an intern with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Megan developed a statewide profile of hepatitis C and public information about the disease and coordinated seminars across the state. Her professional experience also includes work as a lab technician and community health volunteer.
