Nominations for Excellence in Enhancing Diversity and Inclusion Award open Oct. 13

Nominations for the Excellence in Enhancing Diversity and Inclusion Award will be accepted by the Penn State Health Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Monday, Oct. 13 to Monday, Oct. 27.

This award celebrates efforts to advance diversity and inclusion within Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine. It is presented in January, March, May, July, September and November. Penn State Health’s Diversity Council reviews all nominations and chooses the top candidate during each nomination period.

The winner will receive 4,000 PAWS UP! points and an opportunity to recognize a peer as a “Hidden Hero” who supported their accomplishments. The person who nominated the winner will also receive 2,000 PAWS UP! points.

To submit a nomination, write a paragraph of up to 500 words describing why the employee deserves recognition for enhancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Send nominations to Jude McCrea.
