Penn State Health Children’s Hospital expansion coming Fall 2020

We’re expanding to meet the needs of children and families in central Pennsylvania who count on us for care. The Children’s Hospital is often at or near capacity. As the only children’s hospital between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia fully equipped to treat the most severely ill children, Penn State Health Children’s Hospital must expand our role as the region’s pediatric health care leader.

When complete in fall 2020, the Children’s Hospital will provide more space for a state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit, the highest-level neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and exceptional care for children, moms and babies.
