Penn State Health and College of Medicine employees complete The Academic Healthcare Leadership Academy

Thirty employees from Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine completed the 10th annual Academic Healthcare Leadership Academy.
During the five-day program, participants learned how to consider opportunities for collaboration, current organizational strategy and creating a shared foundation to combat thinking in “organizational silos.” The goals of the program were strategic thinking, navigating a shifting environment in academic medicine, nurturing inclusivity and increasing understanding of critical Penn State Health and College of Medicine strategies and financial drivers.
This program represents the health system’s investment in employees’ personal and professional development and focuses on the unique partnership between Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Penn State University Executive Programs ─ SMEAL College of Business.
