Penn State Health benefits open enrollment starts Nov. 3, benefits fair starts Oct. 26

Open enrollment for 2021 benefits for Penn State Health employees runs from Tuesday, Nov. 3, through Tuesday, Nov. 17.

This is the one time a year Penn State Health employees can make changes to their benefits, add or remove dependents and elect new or different coverage without experiencing qualifying life events.

Penn State Health will offer the same three plans in which employees enrolled last year. The Plus and Essential plans will include minor rate increases. Employees enrolling in the Premier plan will pay a slightly higher rate. Those keeping the same plan and coverage and not making any changes do not need to take action during open enrollment this year.

For more information on what’s new and what’s changing for 2021, look for the Open Enrollment Newsletter arriving to employees’ homes by mail. Also, attend the Virtual Benefits Fair― the go-to destination for all 2021 benefit-related materials―starting Monday, Oct. 26.

The fair can be accessed from any device, including smart phones and tablets, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access the Virtual Benefits Fair here.

For one-on-one support, contact the Human Resources Solution Center, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 717-531-8440. Support is also available through mySolutions, where you can submit your benefit questions any time, day or night.

Note: the Virtual Benefits Fair will not show Open Enrollment 2021 information until Oct. 26.
