Penn State Health, College of Medicine exceed combined United Way campaign goal by more than 8%

Penn State Health and College of Medicine employees have pledged $469,524 in this year’s combined United Way campaign, surpassing its goal of $435,000 by 8% or $34,524. Pledges continue to be tallied, so the final total will be announced in December.

“Employees and faculty members have stepped up to support our community through the highest level of giving we have seen since we first began United Way campaigns,” said Jim George, Penn State Health director of community relations. “This record-setting result shows that not only do we provide healing care to our community, we also give generously to support those in need.”
