Penn State Health, College of Medicine make changes to quarantine policy

Penn State Health and the College of Medicine have updated the Interim Employee Travel and Quarantine Policy.

Under the new policy, employees living with someone who is either COVID-19 positive or symptomatic and awaiting test results must be quarantined from the workplace for nine continuous calendar days after their last household exposure.

Employees with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 must be quarantined from the workplace until at least 10 continuous calendar days from the onset of symptoms and cannot return to work until they have fully recovered.
