To reach Champion level, participants must attend at least nine Inclusion Academy culturally responsive care, experiential learning or on-demand sessions and view at least four microlearning videos on connecting with diverse patients. In addition to Champion, the Inclusion Academy Engagement Program recognizes Diversity Supporters and Diversity Advocates. Participants also can earn continuing medical education and nursing credits.

During the fiscal year, 4,220 employees attended Inclusion Academy educational sessions. Nearly 2,200 team members participated in culturally responsive care sessions. As of June 30, 35 on-demand sessions had been offered, with an average of 40 people attending each session. Nearly 25 “Ted Talk”-style videos are available via SharePoint from the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Learn how to become a Diversity Champion here.
