Penn State Health leaders encourage employees to join 2021 Heart Walk

With a 50-year tradition of fighting heart disease and stroke through patient care, research and clinical trials, Penn State Health’s commitment to heart health is unmatched. Participating in the American Heart Association’s 2021 Heart Walk is one way employees can show their personal commitment as well.

That’s the message from Kyle Snyder, senior vice president and chief operating officer at Holy Spirit Medical Center, James Bennett, senior vice president and chief operating officer at St. Joseph Medical Center, and Maher Hanna, vice president of operations at Hershey Medical Center. Together, they’re asking both Penn State Health and College of Medicine employees to participate in this year’s event and join the effort to fight stroke and heart disease.

Employees can register here and join a Penn State Health team, start their own team or walk as individuals. They also can make a donation on the American Heart Association’s website.
