Penn State Health performance appraisals begin June 1

Penn State Health employees will complete self-appraisals, other rater appraisals and manager appraisals in Global Human Resources (GHR) beginning Wednesday, June 1, for fiscal year 2022. This annual appraisal process is designed to create a formal space for performance feedback and shared understanding of expectations between managers and employees.

Employees are asked to complete self-appraisals, if instructed to do so by their manager or supervisor, and other rater appraisals in GHR starting June 1 and ending Thursday, June 30. By critiquing their own work and behavior, employees can gain insight to help them improve and apply valuable lessons learned.

Managers and employees are asked to work together and complete the required employee performance appraisals beginning Friday, July 1. Providing feedback to employees is key for growth and development and setting goals for the coming year. The employee performance appraisals must be completed by Wednesday, Aug. 31.
