Period packs help women in need

In support of Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, students from the Department of Public Health Sciences assembled period packs at Penn State College of Medicine.

The students collected $1,200 in financial donations and more than 3,000 feminine hygiene products for the packs, which were delivered to Penn State Lion Pantry, the Dauphin County Women’s Work Release Program and The Caring Cupboard in Palmyra.
