Incoming physician assistant students participate in first-ever virtual orientation
Thirty physician assistant students from Penn State College of Medicine’s Class of 2022 gathered online this week for team-building exercises as part of their first-ever virtual orientation.
At the end of the two-year program, students who successfully completely the program will earn the Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree and will take the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination.
The new class by the numbers:
- 14 males, 16 females
- Average age: 25
- Average overall GPA: 3.73
- Average science GPA: 3.69
Students come from 13 different states.
