Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine employees can register for the Upstander Café’s December sessions on microaggressions, unconscious bias and social justice. Virtual sessions for 2025 include:

Upstander Café Microaggressions and Unconscious Bias series

Learn how to stand up to microaggressions and bias and create a more welcoming workplace at Penn State Health.

The one-hour, virtual education sessions on microaggressions and unconscious bias will be offered quarterly on Fridays through June 5, 2026.

Upstander Café Social Justice series

“The Link Between Organizational Culture, Individuals’ Culture and Well-Being: Reducing Stress, Distress and Anxiety at Work”

  • Noon to 1 p.m.
  • Register

The one-hour virtual social issues sessions will take place the first Friday of each quarter through June 5, 2026.
