Report attendance of fiscal year 2024 Inclusion Academy sessions to earn recognition, awards

The Inclusion Academy Certification Program rewards employees for attending multiple diversity educational sessions. Employees who have participated in any Inclusion Academy sessions offered in fiscal year 2025 (July 2024 through June 2025) should report their attendance by Monday, July 7, to be eligible for designations and rewards.

Employees should report progress and attendance to the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on this form.

Designed to ensure our patients receive culturally sensitive care, the certification process helps you better understand diversity and its impact on health care. With session workshops and lectures led by subject-matter experts, the Inclusion Academy offers four educational formats:

  • Culturally responsive patient care
  • Inclusive health care – connecting with diverse patients
  • Experiential learning
  • On-demand, onsite and virtual education

In addition, the on-demand series can be tailored to provide education on requested topics.

Upcoming 2025 sessions will focus on:

  • Community health and its role in offering culturally responsive care
  • Integration of culture, beliefs and accessibility in building inclusive health care practices
  • Mental health inequities
  • Poverty and health care disparities

You can register for sessions online.

More participation earns more rewards

The Inclusion Academy offers three recognition levels for participation:

  • Diversity supporter
  • Diversity advocate
  • Diversity champion

Recognitions may include email signature designation, a certificate, food voucher, pins, tote bag and recognition in The RITE Stuff for employees at the diversity champion level. Participants also can earn continuing medical education and nursing credits. For details about requirements and rewards, review this certification flyer or information online.
