Report workstations that need Outlook on the Move migration to IS Service Desk

Employees are asked to report any workstations that that do not have an “M” on the desktop background and still need to be migrated to the latest Outlook platform by calling the IS Service Desk at 833-577-HELP (4357) or emailing help@pennstatehealth.psu.edu.

The Information Services team migrated more than 18,000 Outlook mailboxes and 11,500 workstations at Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine between August and December 2019 as part of the Outlook on the Move project. Workstations were moved to a more stable and secure platform to ensure email continues to perform at peak efficiency.

“This was a massive undertaking, and we thank everyone for their support, participation and patience as we worked to accommodate the growing needs of Penn State Health and the College of Medicine,” said Jason Hughes, research informatics officer.

Public Health Sciences (PHS) email (phs.psu.edu) and workstations will be migrated in a future phase that is currently being coordinated with PHS IS staff.
