Rotunda Café hosts free Thanksgiving meal Nov. 21-22
The Rotunda Café will provide a free Thanksgiving meal for on-duty faculty and staff, as well as patients and their families, on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Thursday, Nov. 22. The annual meal gives those who are unable to spend the holiday with family and friends an opportunity to celebrate.
Members of the Food Services team and senior leadership will serve the meal. Clinical staff should go to the head of the line for fast service so they can return to their units in a timely manner.
Meals will be served from 11 p.m.to 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22. The Rotunda Café will be closed the hour before each meal for set-up. The café will reopen the next morning at 6:30 a.m.
The Rotunda Café with be open for breakfast on Thanksgiving Day from 6:30-10 a.m. Starbucks will be open from 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Au Bon Pain will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 21.
The following locations will be closed on Nov. 22:
- Au Bon Pain
- Treehouse Café
- Sunnyside Café
- Corner Café
- Café East at 30 Hope Drive
All food service operations will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov.23 with two exceptions: the Corner Café will close at 1:30 p.m., and Au Bon Pain will be closed.
